Pre Work
The organic form assigned to me was an apple. To make a 3D replica of the half cut form, I used a yellow crepe paper on the inside. The lines on the crepe paper gave a texture that I observed while cutting the apple from a knife. The knife gave an imprint on the inside of an apple that was visible to me in light.
To make the seeds, I used the tip of cotton buds which I used during F2F. I painted the tip of the cotton bud brown to replicate the seeds
For the exterior, I observed that the texture of the apple was very smooth and shiny. To replicate that shiny surface, I used glaze paper red in color. I was familiar with glaze paper in FVL-2.

Observations-
After making the 3D model, I observed that the outside texture was not captured properly. Even though I could see the shine on the surface. The texture was not smooth. This could be due to the way I pasted the two materials together.
For the inside, the crepe paper was bulging out whereas I wanted a flat surface for the inside.
Day 1
For the day 1 activity, we were asked to make a form analysis of our given form on A3 sheet.
To attempt this task, I carefully observed my form, i.e. the apple as a whole form, half cut and as a wedge. My form analysis included the observations in contour drawings and colored drawings.
