Introduction
The main aim for this project, according to me was understanding the color theory. Every color is related to an emotion or a feeling, or as we called it color psychology. I was able to understand this with carefully studying the color assigned to me.
To begin with the project, we were introduced to several methods of inquiry. Using those tools, I carries forward my study on the color orange.

OBSERVATION
This method of inquiry was the most important method for me in this project. By carefully observing my surroundings, I was able to gather some information regarding the questions that were there in my mind related to the color orange. I started paying attention to things around me that were orange and tried to understand the reason behind the object for it being that color. As I went out for my daily tasks, I carefully observed everything that was orange around me. Some reasons I was able to fid out there and then but some made me curious.
GROUP DISCUSSION
After carefully observing my surroundings and coming up with some answers, our group carried forward a discussion about the things everyone observed. Everyone told their point of views and that also helped me in gaining a different perspective. We together worked on a miro board and categorized the information we already had. After putting our research together, we were able to get many questions answered. For eg. I found out why the construction workers wear bright orange color vests while they are working.
TOOL USED
The tool used by us for this project was a Mind Map which was made on miro board. The mind map was a great way to organise the information into different categories. It was possible to further extend the mind map if I wanted to add some more information or if I connected a category to something else even further. In case some elements were connected to each other in a certain way, dotted lines could be used to show the connection between them. In future if I want to make inquire about an idea, a mind map will help me put together the gathered information systematically.
Do's
Categorize information under different headings
Keep space between the subheadings
Use different shapes/colors to differentiate
Use images to support the information
Use arrows to show connection
Don'ts
Don't clutter the mind map
Don't change the proportions of different categories
Avoid using very small text
MUDDIEST POINT
The point where I felt most stuck was creating swatches as it was a task for me to get the right shade at first. But with experience from previous swatches, I was able to get swatches closer to the actual color faster and in less tries
CLEAREST POINT
The clearest point of the project was when we were asked to individually expand the mind map. Expanding the map and gathering information on my own relatively easier and it was
interesting to connect the information through arrows.
KEY LEARNINGS
The most important thing I learnt from EOC 1 was being observant about the colors used at a particular space. After this project, I started questioning as to why a particular color is being used by a brand or a company for its products or logos.
It also made me realize how a color can be connected to a specific emotion that can be identified universally. Color can also be used to convey a specific message to the people and their interpretations would be similar.
STRENGTHS
While making the final commentary log in our specialization, I found the process of finding the use of color orange very interesting. Till that point, the aim and idea behind the entire project was getting even clearer. The entire process of making a video about the use of color in our specialization is something that I worked on very enthusiastically. I would also help others find ideas if they needed my help.
WEAKNESSES
One of the problem that I faced during the commentary log was editing the video. It is difficult for me to work on video editing as it was something I haven't done before.
